Tie of the Day: March 13

This was the tie that I wore to my interview.  I call it one of my safe ties.  It really is not going to offend anyone.  Plus it is flowers and it says springtime!

The What if Game

One of the games that the mind likes to play, when we are down, is the what if game.  It makes us wonder what would are world be like if we had taken a different path.  And I have a few what ifs. The Real Noah

Some notes I wrote down, when the Movie Noah came out a few years ago.  I found all of this in the Pearl of Great Price, another set of Scriptures that the Jesus of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!! Noah was 450 years old when Japheth was born, 492 year old when Shem was born and 500 when Ham was born.  Moses 8:12 Noah was to cry repentance unto the people.  He was give 125 years to get the people to repent. Moses 8:17 Noah Father is 777 years old when he dies.  Moses 8:11 Noah was 182 when his father died. In the Movie, it shows Noah out with his father, Lamech, performing a ceremony, and is killed by a group of men.  The Scriptures are vague on this, but the movie makes Noah out to be a teenage when his father dies and that is not true. Feeling left behind

Over the past month I have been to two baptisms, two farewells and a home coming.  It reminds me of what I do not have in my life, children.  I also have had my 44th birthday, which I spent on my own.  My marriage of 22 years is gone, and I really have nothing to show that I am here. But I have been living some what an oddity in the Mormon Church.  Having been married for so long, with no kids, you just don't get the feeling that you are part of the church family.  I have set in many a Priesthood Class, hearing the teacher tell how special it is to be a father, and how closer to God you are.  I really have not made a lot of friends in these wards, because I have no  kids that are in the same Primary Class, Sunday School Class, or Mutual. It even feels like the newly married couple, when they do get pregnant, that they are now one up on me.
